New Washer and Dryer

Due to the purchase of that silly lawn mower, tomorrow my mother will be $500 poorer than she is today.

When we first started our search for a new washing machine there was an add in the Grand Forks Herald, for a two year old washer and dryer set for $400. Yesterday when Jennifer brought the paper home from work the add was still there but they had lowered the price to $350 or best offer.

Today when I called the lady that answered was a total snot face and acted like I was crossing enemy lines when I said I was calling about her add in the news paper. "We already sold it!"

All I have to say is I could expect that kind of reaction if the ad hadn't been in yesterdays paper but one from 2 months ago.

Jennifer and I went to Sears and picked out a new washer and dryer. They will be delievered on Friday and I won't have to use all of my change to do laundry downtown some where. I can keep saving it to make a down payment on a car in the next 50 years. So Jennifer wrote a check for $592 and some odd cents and that was that. My mom will put $500 into Jenn's checking account tomorrow.

I feel bad because if we had called about that washer and dryer before we bought the lawn mower maybe we could have had better quality machines, for a cheaper price even though they were used. The ones we got from Sears are just the cheapest ones they had in the store.

I think I am gonna go cook myself some chili and a hotdog for lunch/dinner so I can take my medicine, and then I am gonna take a nap. Or watch one of the old Star Wars movies, if I can figure out which one goes first. I think it is The Empire Strikes Back, but I'm not really sure.

Have a good night.
