They call that a zoo?

There were no giraffes to be seen at the Red River Zoo. There wasn't much else to see either. I paid $5 to see a couple Pronghorns, a Prarie Dog colony, a few house mice and a bunch of roaches. There was more than that, but I can't believe it is called a zoo. The whole way home we were joking about donating Jennifer and Johnny's pets to the zoo. We would keep Sting the Scorpion because they arleady had a few of his relatives.

So after the disappointment of the zoo, we went and walked through the mall. Ate some Taco John's from the food court and then played in the Arcade. This is the first time I have even walked into one of those before. We ended up with 287 prize tickets. I got a kite and a key chain ecth-a-sketch and 3 pez dispensers. Jennifer got an ecth-a-sketch key chain, a little frog thing, a pex dispenser, some frog tattoo thing. And Johnny got an eight ball key chain and some little alien paratroopers.

It was a waste of time and money but at least that part of the trip to Fargo was fun.
