Stupid Professors
I hate my criminal justice teacher. He is a prick. Today was our first test in that class and her treated us like we were first graders taking our first test of our lives. Okay we are all in college, at least that is what I think this hell like place is supposed to be. I think we are all very capable of working an answer sheet. All you have to do is write A, B, C, or D for the multiple choice ones on the little line next to the number of the question and for the true or false; write true or false on the line. Piece of cake right? Aparently he doesn't seem to think so. He took 15 minutes to explain how to take the test. Then another 10 minutes to go over the directions that said. There are two essay questions, pick one and answer it on the provided paper. I am sure we are all capable of reading too. It shouldn't have been such a big deal. I hate how teachers/professors think that they are so superior to the students that they treat us like total morons. People that have the amazing power to make people feel like shit shouldn't be allowed to teach or interact with people. So what, why am I supposed to care that you used to be a lawyer and you got bored so now you are a professor at the Univeristy of Great Falls. When you get tired of teaching are you going to become a part-time gay bouncer. I don't care what you do in your spare time, just learn how to teach more effectively. And don't look down on the students when they ask a honest question. This is going to be one of those classes that I will go study the test bank, learn the answers for the questions and breeze through the multiple choice true false questions and b.s. my way through the essay question. I am not going to retain any of the knowledge. Once you see a multiple choice question and know the answer it isn't hard to pull that little bit of information back out of storage long enough to write down an ABCD answer. At least it is that way for me. I am sure if I saw one of Nancy's Anatomy/Physiology/Microbiology tests that I typed during the two years I worked for her at CWC, I could pull off a fairly decent grade, not knowing anything about that stuff. While I am complaining about my professors here I may as well get this off my chest too. My english professor is a dunce too. She is incapable of working a VCR and TV in the classroom. The fact that inorder for what is playing in the VCR to show up on the TV, the TV has to be on a certain channel, is totally above her head. How does she manage to check her email and use a computer for anything? How long did it take her to figure out the CPU had to be turned on for anything to show up on the monitor? I know I am being really mean, but come on, the lady can't even tell the difference between a regular marker and a dry erase marker. Our classroom was moved downstairs because one of the older lady's just had knee surgery in august and is having trouble with the stairs. There is a marker board in the new classroom. There weren't any markers for her to use, so the know it all old man, went some where and got a box of markers. There was only one dry erase marker. It died, so she grabbed a regular crayola marker and started writing away on the marker board. She freaked out when it didn't come off the board. I think teachers should have to take a class in gaining general people skills and common sense in the classroom.
