I want a puppy so badly. I have wanted another dog since I had to give Tiny away back in the days of CWC.
E and I were in the mall the other day so his friend Ed could buy a pair of cowboy boots for work.
I found a cute pair of black and pink Justin boots that I totally wanted. But E was more interested in finding him self a pair of Harley Davidson Boots. No big deal it was his money I was asking him to spend on me. He has been giving me enough of that to help with bills without me even asking this time around. He is still trying to prove that he is a different person than he was before.
Okay back to the mall, Ed got his boots. E and I both left empty handed. Ed's wife went into Riddles to look for a pair of earrings. (She ended up getting 2 rings that were on sale.) E grabbed my hand walked around the store and told Ed that we were going to the pet shop.
E stops to look at the kittens, immediately I said we didn't need another cat and breezed right past them to the puppies in the front window.
They were cute as buttons, but not the puppy for me.
Once we got inside the pet store there were some white and black boxers which I have loved since I lived with Jill and we had Layla at the trailer with us. E pointed out a beagle that was super adorable. When I looked below him my heart nearly jumped out of my chest. These big brown eyes belonging to the cutest thing I have seen in the pet store since I bought my cats were looking up at me. I just had to hold this little guy. He is 1/2 Boston Terrier 1/2 French Bulldog. And he has the power to just melt my heart.
One of the employees was going to try to get financing through Wells Fargo to buy him and had named him Pudge. After she thought about it she decided she couldn't have him. So he was just waiting there to steal my heart.
The only way I could possibly get this puppy would be to apply for the financing with Wells Fargo. As much as I would love that to work out I don't believe that it would as when the wonderful Jill was living with me, I had a slight problem with her and that checking account that landed me in jail for an afternoon.
Grr bad roommates, and my inability to keep people from walking all over me.
sigh...
