I hate bugs!

I hate bugs!

What is the stinking purpose of a bug...to feed a spider and annoy people. Then what is the purpose of a spider to eat bugs and annoy people.

Can't we just rid the world of both of these things. We can keep the butterflies and the ladybugs and the ants. Those bugs don't bother me, it is just all the other little crawly slimy bugs that gross me out.

Every morning when I get home from work the first thing I see when I get to my front door is two huge spiders. They give me the creeps I always think that they are going to drop down on my head and then crawl in my ear or nose or something after I go to bed.

So yesterday morning I was laying in my bed reading just about ready to turn out the light when I came to the end of the chapter and I feel something on my arm. The blanket I was curled up with had a tag that was tickling my arm in that spot earlier so I just thought it was the blanket. I turn my head to look and make sure because it doesn't really feel like the tag and what do I see crawling on my arm...a centipede. A nasty little wiggly centipede.

I pretty much freaked out, flung my blankets around until I saw the bug hit the floor. I didn't have a shoe on or anything to smash the bug with so I took the roll of packing tape that was on the floor next to my bed got a piece and taped it to the floor. Then pealed the tape off the floor with his back stuck to it and then taped it to a piece of paper in my garbage can.

I feel horrible about how cruel that was but I didn't want it to crawl back up onto my bed and down my throat or up my nose while I was sleeping.

It took me forever to fall asleep because I was so paranoid that something else was going to crawl into my bed and eat my brain out through my ear.

On a completely Crista isn't a freak type of subject, I need some advice.

A few entries ago there was the whole deal about the flood watch. That night we got a ton of rain, which caused substantial damage to the Taco Bell I work at (I can't remember if I mentioned this in a previous entry.) There is now talk about closing down my store and building a new store which I completely understand, our store is really falling apart and we need more storage.

The problem with this is that they have to make a decision within the next three weeks so they can break ground where ever the new store will be located and have most of the frame work done before the winter hits.

If this indeed happens the way the manager wishes it would all but three of the employees (manager and two assistant managers) will be temporarily out of work (three months according to one of the assistant managers.) I will be getting the shift manager training book soon, (which means a pay raise) and my six month review is coming up soon also (which could possibly include a raise as well.)

I don’t want to find a new job, so I can turn around and quit as soon as the new store is built, but I don’t want to get stuck working a job that I hate even more then Taco Bell. I also don’t want this whole temporary unemployment deal to sneak up on me and leave me with no job and without a job to be found.

So do I start looking for a new job right now and hopefully find one that will pay me more than I get at Taco Bell, or do I wait and see what happens. Maybe they will just do repairs on the existing building since they just spent a bunch of money on landscaping (we have the prettiest lot I have ever seen a Taco Bell have.)

I don’t know what I should do, if I just sit around and wait, I may be able to collect unemployment but that is only half of what you would actually make. Do I find a new job and tell them that I will be leaving as soon as the new store opens? Do I find a new job and tell Rod that I won’t be coming back?

Right now I am getting plenty of hours, but once I go back to school I will probably only be scheduled for right around 20 hours a week. Will that be enough even with a raise to pay my bills? I’m not sure. Should I find a job that will schedule me hour eight hour shifts every time that I come to work and then try to work 30 hours a week throughout the school year.

I hadn’t actually thought that far ahead (work during the school year) to see if I would be able to live in this trailer and pay my bills. I should be able to if you look at how much I have made working at Taco Bell since I started mid-February (I have almost made as much as I didn’t all of last year.)

I need advice. If anyone is willing to give me some input it would be greatly appreciated.
