got lost somewhere along the way and forgot what I was saying

argh

This has to be the worst day at work in ever. We have a new phone system, so all we do when the phone rings is pick up the receiver to answer and everything else we do is with the computer.

I don't like it not just because it is new, the concept is pretty cool, but the call timer slows Firefox down to a crawl. I spend 75% of my call time waiting on the screen to load when I click on a different function.

frustration

It is also completely dead today. Since I got back from lunch today @ 4:30 I have taken 5 calls if I am lucky. And I don't mind getting paid $11.50 / hour to sit here with a goofy headset on waiting for the phone to ring. But I am definitely lacking things to do to keep my self awake while I am waiting almost an hour in between phone calls.

I was miserable all day yesterday. I left the house for maybe a total of 45 minutes to go with A to the Kia dealership so she could get her car appraised as she is trying to get a new one. The baby is 4 1/2 months old, she doesn't walk she doesn't crawl, she doesn't even cry that much so it wasn't really necessary for me to go with to the dealership either time we went but A thought that it would be hard to look at cars by herself because she has to take the baby with her.

Maybe it is just because I am not a mom. But my thoughts would have been, it is a beautiful day out, put the stroller in the trunk and I can push the stroller around instead of carrying the car seat so my arm doesn't get tired. Then when I'm ready to go inside drop the stroller back off at the car and set the car seat in the chair next to me in the office. Easy enough for one person to do.

A had me go with while she walked around and looked at cars I sat in the car with Kali, then when I got off the phone I took Kali out of the car seat and walked around for a bit so I didn't have to lug the car seat with.

Once we went inside all A did was fill out the credit check info and we were on the way again.

Yesterday, we were in the office for maybe 15 minutes. Sales guy said he thought she would probably need a co-signer but they would run it with out one first. Then they looked at the car to decide how much the trade-in would be.

Don't really think I was needed for that but what ever.

Some people just need a friend to hold their hand, I guess.
