yet another weird dream and some rambling

I have to start going to bed before the sun starts coming up. When I don’t I have freaky dreams. I don’t think it would bother me as much as it does but the sunlight that seeps through the shades disturbs my sleep just enough that I remember every crazy detail of the dream.

This morning my dream started out in my dad’s shop in Lander. I was running the cash register but people were paying to have Miss Cleo tell them their fortunes, absolutely insane because my dad owns a Kawasaki dealership. So this lady walks up and tries to give me Aaron’s credit card to pay for the services.

"Excuse me, but I don’t think this is your credit card."

"It is okay I have his permission, he takes care of me."

"I know this person, he has never told me anything about you before. I am going to have to hold onto this card and call to verify your story." I totally lied to her and called the police.

The police show up and arrest her and then all of a sudden I am in Montana telling Dorea about this lady that had Aaron’s credit card and how we need to make sure he is okay.

So, we find Aaron and I give him his credit card back.

"Where on earth did you get this?"

"Some little old lady tried to pay for her visit with Miss Cleo with it. She said that you took care of her but you’ve never mentioned her before so I had the police pick her up."

"You did what! I do take care of her, she had financial troubles a while back so I gave her this card and I am taking care of things for her. Where is she?"

"I’m sorry. She is back in Lander, I will call and have her released." Like I could really do that.

"Don’t bother, I will go get her."

With that Aaron took off and I was back in ND going to school and working at Super Target. Then my phone rings and it is Dorea, she hasn’t seen Aaron since the day he took off and she is getting worried about him. I hang up the phone and magically I am back in Montana and Dorea and I are planning a search and rescue mission.

While we are planning there is a lot of talk between us and I learn that Aaron had a crush on Dorea and she told him that she would never feel that way about him so he was crushed and that is why he is letting the little old lady manipulate him. I also learn that I was upset that he never came back because I am in love with him.

With our mission planned out we mystically become aware of the location where they are hiding out. I think Miss Cleo must have given us a little help. They are living in a trailer house up on a hill next to some forest. Must be some place made up in my head, because I have never seen it before.

Dorea breaks into the trailer and tells Aaron that we have been so worried about him. I follow her in and accuse the lady of brain washing my Aaron. Then I drag her outside and lock her in the little shed that was next to the house.

When I get back into the house Aaron is yelling at Dorea because that lady was the only person that ever loved him, and he was happy with the way things were because he knew that no one else could love him because Dorea hadn’t.

"That isn’t true. That lady only loved you because you let her do whatever with your money."

"How can you even say that Crista?"

"How can you deny it? Look at this place not a single bit of it says Aaron. How can you live in this place? It isn’t you." As I finished talking I freaked out and started tearing up all pink frilly things and breaking all the little porcelain cat figurines. "What have you let that lady do to you, why did you let her do this to you?"

"She is the only one that loves me."

"That isn’t true...because I love you...always have."

This is where I woke up, confused by the fact that I was declaring my love for a person that I have never met and only spoken to for about a minute on the phone.

This dream almost freaked me out as much as the one about my dad disappearing in Texas and threatening to kill himself if Jenn and I couldn’t get along long enough to figure out the clues and find him before we ran out of time.

My friend Sarah is having an 80’s Night this weekend. I am kind of excited for some silly reason. She rented 14 or so movies from the 80’s and the will be playing continuously Friday starting at 10 pm after she gets off work and starting again at noon on Saturday.

I have to work Friday from 2:30 to 9:30 in the deli, so I will have to deal with freight which means I might not get out of there exactly at 9:30. And then Saturday I work from 4 to 9:30 in Starbucks so I will be done right before 9:30 probably.
