dear john letter
Dear Johnny- You moved out in October. We shouldn’t still be fighting about how you will not get your shit out of my house. Had this been just any old apartment that you rented from a company the day after you moved out they would have chucked your shit and charged you for the disposal and cleaning up of it. Five months later I am still living around your shit. I am sick of it. If your stuff isn’t gone by the time Jennifer leaves for Medora on the 18th, I will be donating everything that is left to one of the thrift stores here. I am sure they will be more than glad to deal with your crap. I am tired of functioning as a storage unit and getting no compensation. Your dearest enemy, -creeksta P.S.-If you don't get your address changed to something other than my mailbox you are going to stop receiving your mail also. I might be kind enough to forward it all to your parent’s house back in Wyoming, but I wouldn’t count on it.
I am just a bit upset right now. The day before Easter Johnny drove up here to pack his crap and take it to Fargo with him. He hung out for about an hour and then left empty handed telling Jennifer about how it was unfair for him to be here because he makes me uncomfortable and I should be able to spend time with my parents while they were here. He just refuses to eat my mother’s cooking, never has never will. The whole time he and Jenn were together he would make up any excuse to get out of a family dinner cooked at our house. It isn’t his mother's cooking and it for sure isn’t just a plain hamburger with ketchup. We had manicotti for Easter dinner on the 19th before my parents left town. Johnny had no idea what manicotti was and wasn’t about to try it. But he was for sure going to leave telling Jenn his lame ass excuse about knowing that he makes me uncomfortable and that she shouldn’t tell mom and dad that is why he is leaving, knowing good and well that that is exactly what she was going to do, so I will look like an ass hole. So any way Johnny was back up here for the second time since Easter to get his stuff. When he left after yelling at Jenn for changing the way the toad tank was set up, the only thing that he took was the VCR and the only reason he took that was because I had unhooked it all because Jenn told me he was coming to get the rest of his stuff, and I didn’t want him messing up the DVD player or my stereo. I stayed in my room the whole time that he was here, not because I was avoiding him, but because I was rebuilding the desk that Jeni and Tim had given me yesterday while they were packing their moving van. (I will take pictures of the new desk and how I rearranged my bedroom soon.) So it wasn’t like I was back here pouting and slamming things around like a two year old throwing a tantrum. I was just busy. grr...I am so ready for all this bullshit to be done and over with. He was supposed to take his crap today because he is supposed to get his orders tomorrow. (About freaking time, I hope he gets sent off somewhere and left there for at least a year,) Maybe then Jenn will have a chance to make some new friends, or get over him.
I got the computer all hooked up and ready to go, flipped the power switch and the damn computer ate another mouse. I've been having trouble with the mouse my mom brought up here with the computer, but usually after fiddling with it for about 5 minutes the computer will recognize it again. Not today, I called to ask my mom what she did the other times that her mice died. Go buy a new one. So Jenn do you think that you can come with me and buy me a $12 mouse and mouse pad with your cute little tropical credit card and we will just call it even for the $30 plus interest that is on my Target card that I spent for Johnny's Christmas gift? "I am trying to pay off my credit card before I leave for Medora, can't you just use my mouse?" "My computer still doesn’t have a USB port so I can't." 45 minutes until Target closes, I will use my $7 cash and whatever I need from the money on the gift card mom gave to us for groceries. For under $20 I got a new mouse pad with the gel wrist thing and an optical mouse. Hopefully this mouse will last more than the usual 2 years that the previous mice have lasted.
Tomorrow's project of the day (if my body will allow it to happen after the last two days of work) I will be building the entertainment center that Jeni gave me with out directions. I did pretty well with the desk, so hopefully I can do the same with the next project.
I am exhausted, it is partially my own fault but then I think there is some kind of imbalance in my body. I can't sleep, I can be ready to crawl in bed and nearly falling asleep while making my way back to my bed, but then the slightest disturbance and I am screwed and I end up staying up until nearly 5 am. Jenn has to ask me some stupid question and all of a sudden I'm not tired anymore. Tuesday morning I went to bed at 5 am and had to be back at work at 11 am, not a big deal, had a great day at work, it was slow and I got so much accomplished. Jeni and Tim were planning on heading out of town by 3 pm but they would stop at Target and say goodbye to everyone. When I got off at 4, I hadn't seen them. (Being a little bummed out since Jeni was the very first person here in ND that I consider a real friend, I decided to call and see if their phone was still hooked up.) Tim answers, yea, they haven't left. Jeni gets on the phone do you want an entertainment center or a desk if we can't fit them into the moving van. Of course I do, I'm not about to pass up free furniture. I wasn't sure how close to being done they were so I skipped heading home and grabbing some food and drove right over to their apartment in East Grand Forks. I got there and they had so much stuff to pack still that after working a 5 hours shift at work, missing my lunch and my fifteen I spent another 6 hours packing and loading their things up for them so they could get out of town and make part of the drive to Milwaukee yesterday. After they left Sarah wanted me to go over to her place because Jeni was her best friend and she was even more upset than I was. By the time I left her house around 1 am this morning, I was so far past exhaustion that I couldn't sleep. So I unloaded all of the food and alcohol that Jeni made me bring home so they wouldn't have to drive with open containers, and decided that I was going to make egg salad. What on earth it is 2 am and all of a sudden I think I need to make egg salad so I can have a sandwich later in the afternoon. I finished that and decided to check my email, then read a bit of what's been happening with the Noisies while I have been ignoring the computer, noticed Bonkrood online but she was ignoring me so I called her to ask if I was invisible. I wasn't she was just busy doing school and work stuff. Then I ended up staying on the phone with her until forever. Then I finally forced myself to go to bed after saying good bye what seemed like a good 5 or 6 times and was up again at 10 am today to rearrange my bedroom. I actually went to bed at 8 pm tonight, I was so proud of myself. Jenn got off work at 9 and had to come wake me up to see if I was home. What do you think, my car is in the drive way and the entryway door wasn't locked from the outside. How often do I leave the house and not lock the cats in, if you aren't home. Umm never, did you really need to come wake me up? Now it is nearly 1 am on Thursday; once again I won't be going to bed before 5 am. Thanks kiddo. I am so glad that you are so concerned about my whereabouts when I am safely tucked in my bed and trying to sleep. I will see you around 8 am when you come it to ask me if I like your new white Capri pants that you have been looking for a cute pair of since last summer.
In other computer news, I just remembered because I was talking about it with Bonkrood last night. You know how when you plug your headphones into your cute little Discman, if you don't get the plug all the way in only one side works. The same concept works when dealing with computer speakers. I am unhooking everything this morning and I notice that the speaker wire isn't plugged in all the way. I swore I checked this back in August when I noticed that I only had sound from one of the speakers. Apparently I hadn't, so I have been spending all this time listening to mp3s and CDs from one speaker. Speakers are working perfectly now and the music sounds much better. This is approaching the two page mark in Word so I think I better end it now run the spell check and add an entry of real sustenance to my pour neglected diary.
