Yet again I sit at the computer instead of sleeping. It seems that my mind will not slow down until the sun is nearly up. Which doesn't work since I have class at 9 a.m.

Jennifer got her hair cut the other day. For the first time in years my hair is longer than hers. It looks very cute. I am glad she did it, she needed to change something. Hopefully she will feel a little better about herself now.

For a few days in a row last week I was really worried about her. Telling me she wanted to kill her cats and then beating herself up when she got a ticket because she forgot to turn her headlights back on after dropping a friend off after work. I had to sit on top of her and hold her arms down to her sides to make her stop pounding on her head. I was glad my dad had been trying to call her all night so both of my parents talked to her and helped calm her down a bit.

We went and did our Thanksgiving shopping today. That was an adventure, good thing mom emailed a shopping list. If it had been left up to us we may have been stuck eating a 24-pound turkey with Ramen noodles. Not really, but we wouldn't have known where to start.

We got that done and I even bought Christmas presents for my mom and Jennifer while I was at it. Aren't I good.

So I watched Martin & Lewis on CBS tonight. It was so good. When I was little I loved Jerry Lewis. He was like my hero. I laughed my butt off, and I cried and then I wish I had recorded it instead of letting the program that was supposed to record American Dreams for Jennifer record Run Away Bride. Sometimes my common sense doesn't work that great.

So I was going to use getting into a car with my sister almost once a day as testimony to my lack of common sense because every time I do I feel that I may die in an unfortunate accident because she cuts someone off or runs into the back of someone. But I just found a way to top that.

So I got up to go to the bathroom. We keep my bathroom door closed because Merlin likes to tear up rolls of toilet paper and plants. Jennifer just had to buy a Poinsettia for Christmas, my bathroom and laundry room are the only rooms with doors shut all the time. The laundry room is drafty so the plant is sitting next to my sink.

Apparently this morning I forgot that we keep the door closed and because I didn’t turn any lights on I ran right into the door. It shocked me and then made me laugh at myself.

My parents are leaving Lander tomorrow afternoon to head up here. I am so excited I hope the roads are all okay. I know Lander got between 5 and 8 inches of snow the other day but it warmed up and all melted away. Fargo got about the same amount, but it didn’t get warm enough to melt that stuff away. When I watched the 10 pm news it was only 8 degrees here in GF and the high for yesterday was only 21. Fargo wasn’t much warmer than that yesterday.

So I went all day with out a bit of a sore throat after I woke up. About an hour ago I drank some Lipton Lemon & Honey tea (it isn’t half as good as the herbal lemon soother kind that I had before) and now my throat hurts again. But I can still breathe through my nose, which is a nice change.

Tonight I got to see a kid in hand cuffs being put into the back of a patrol car. It was pretty darn exciting. I thought so anyways.

Can someone please explain why my living room smells like a popcorn ball? Maybe it is just my nose.

Just for the record…My kitchen found my diary, and peanut butter and cinnamon sugar sandwiches are no good. Today my jelly was moldy. And it wasn’t because of breadcrumbs; I use a spoon to get the jelly from the jar and the peanut butter knife to spread it.

So unless you want you kitchen to go on strike don’t talk shit about it in your online diary. I think the computer is leaking information. Tomorrow if the pantry opened it’s door and spit out the 10-pound bag of potatoes so the cats could eat them I will know that it is a conspiracy.
